DMA2013 EXPERT EXHIBITOR ACADEMY
DMA is excited to continue this comprehensive program designed to train exhibitors to become “Masters in Event Marketing” and “PhD’s in Return on Exhibiting.” This webinar series encompasses the strategies, tactics, and initiatives that have historically proven to maximize your overall exhibiting success and ROI. All DMA2013 exhibitors, as well as others within your company who are involved with your exhibit promotion for DMA2013 are invited – and encouraged – to attend this expanded series of pre-show webinars as well as the on-site session. This multi-session academy is offered by DMA for exhibitors to become masters in event marketing; it is conducted by Charles W. Allen in conjunction with the Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA), The International Bureau of Public Audit (BPA Worldwide), Exhibition Conference and Executive Forum (ECEF), and the International Economic Alliance (IEA — conceived at Harvard University). Through these interactive sessions, exhibitors will learn how to match strategic and tactical solutions with your specific exhibiting objectives for participation at DMA2013.

ALERT! SUSPECT SHOW DIRECTORY
The International Association of Exhibitions & Events (IAEE) has reason to believe that www.fairguide.com, a company operating out of Slovakia, is targeting exhibitors in many tradeshows to purchase a three-year commitment of advertising that is cleverly disguised as an offer of a free directory listing.
At this time, IAEE cannot determine if this operation is just a façade for Construct Data Publishing/Fair Guide, another show guide company, or if it is unrelated. Please be wary of any offers for directory listings that may come your way from Expo-Guide or other organizations who are not affiliated with DMA. This is a bogus offer of a free directory listing that will commit your company to a three-year ad billed annually, starting at $1700 per year. The all-too-familiar offer is to ‘verify that our information about your company is correct and you get a free listing in the exhibitor directory.’
If you wish to file a mail fraud complaint with the U.S. Postal Inspectors regarding Fair Guide Construct Data, click on the following link: https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/forms/MailFraudComplaint.aspx
The form is relatively short and simple to complete online. Please list the full name of the company as Fair Guide Construct Data and the type of scheme would be False Bill or Invoice. U.S. Postal Inspectors nationwide will be able to track your complaint much easier using this method.
